Moodys Investors Services, the international rating agency,again assigned to Astana Finance JSC issuer rating Ba1. In Moodys opinion Credit Strengths for Astana Finance include: - The banks importance to the local economy and the economic strength of the city of Astana underpin the issuer rating
- Strong political connections and experience gained from participating in the citys development projects may result in new business opportunities
- Business and regional diversification away from city to strengthen the franchise
- Lessening dependence on the city for funding
The Ba1 issuer rating assigned to AF carries a stable outlook.
