NEOBUS Ltd establishment

On December 28, Kokshetau with the assistance of the akim of Akmolinskaya Region M.Esenbayev there was held the first general meeting of NEOBUS Ltd founders including the Chairman of the Management Board of Astana Finance JSC K. Islamov, the General Director of KAMAZ OJSC S. Kogogin, the representative of Central Asia Fuel and Energy Company S. Sholanov, during which the questions on this project realization were considered.

Kokshetau was set as the pant's location place. The project power of the plant will total 1,300 small class buses and 200 large class buses p.a..

During the meeting the sides noted that the given project was a new stage in the Kazakhstan KAMAZ Automobile Consortium's activity which in that way realized goals and tasks set up in its creation: to satisfy needs of the Kazakhstan market for motor transport, to set up close cooperation contacts and to develop the country's assembly production. Taking into consideration high needs of and Middle Asian neighbor countries for powerful and reliable buses the participants are sure that NEOBUS will be recognizable and popular trade mark facing all modern requirements of mechanical engineering.

The Akim of Akmolinskaya Region M. Esenbayev stated that the new joint enterprise NEOBUS was a significant contribution in realization of the President's tasks on creation of home competitive production and also corresponded to tasks reflected in the state programs of Industrial and innovational development, in the President's Message to the people of Kazakhstan And others. He also noted with satisfaction that the goals of such productions organization had been put on foundation in the Ministry of Industry and Trade earlier at the stage of the Consortium's creation, and NEOBUS project was a successful example of consistent and purposeful work of its participants. He also promised all possible support from the state authority concerning the given project.
