Ecoton+

In Astana under AFs investment project the construction of the aerated concrete plant Ecoton+ was successfully completed. The plant was commissioned in early September. The aerated concrete plant Ecoton+ became an embodiment of AFs idea about the creation of a full technological cycle from the construction materials manufacturing to the housing construction and sale. The Project is unique in its way. Its implementation took one year and a half only. The project investment volume totaled USD 17.7 million. The founders of the plant are Astana Finance JSC and Otau-K Ltd., whose equity investments to Ecoton+ OJSC totaled USD 2,250 thousand each. The loans of Astana Finance JSC in the amount of USD 6.1 million, Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (DBK) in the amount of USD 6 million and others in the amount of USD 1.1 million were raised. The initial production capacity of the plant is 125,000 m3 per year. It is planned to increase the productivity up to 150,000 m3 per year by attracting additional investments. The project provides tax payments to the local budget in the amount of KZT 25 million per year.

Head of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Danial Akhmetov, who visited the plant, noted that the new plant was the embodiment of the Presidents housing construction development strategy. There is no doubt that opening of such a plant is an elaborate step focussed on the supply of the republican construction market with a new modern material, meeting all international quality standards. The use of product manufactured by the plant will cause the reduction of construction cost, which is the key goal of the project.
