Astana Finance meeting with the local government and stakeholders of the region

The meeting was caused by the recently increased interest of the government of Karaganda region (the city of Karaganda) in projects focused on lease services, setting up of enterprises in various sectors, housing construction and mortgage lending. Such interest is in line with the character of the projects offered by metropolitan company Astana Finance, which is quite experienced in the above listed areas and has been expanding its business in the promising regions of Kazakhstan for a long time.

Karaganda region is one of the major industrial regions in the country. It accounts for 13.5% of Kazakhstans industrial output. The produce is exported to CIS and other foreign countries. Such trend outlined the suggested areas of cooperation between Astana Finance and companies of Karaganda region. First of all, it includes setting up of enterprises in various industries, viz. machine-building (manufacturing of specific units for KAMAZ trucks, assembling of agricultural machinery and buses based on KAMAZ chassis), gas supply (development of LPG stations, conversion of motor vehicles to LPG) and manufacturing of construction materials (facing brick, ceramic tiles, paintwork materials, mineral insulators, glass fiber pipes, bitumen felt, reinforced panels, dry mixes, aerated concrete construction materials).

Furthermore, Astana Finance will put forward a proposal on provision of leasing services, primarily on leasing of KAMAZ trucks (prime movers, dump trucks, truck mixers, cranes, fuel carriers, communal machinery), and leasing of various agricultural machinery of such world manufacturers as John Deere, Case New Holland and CLAAS. In addition, services on leasing of NEFAZ, Volvo, Scania, Iveco buses, quarry equipment, construction machinery and Volkswagen and Audi cars will be offered.

In view of the fact that housing in Karaganda has not been renewed for years, and given the increasing demand of the citizens for modern, good-quality and affordable housing, Astana Finance suggests to implement the Housing Construction and Mortgage Lending Program in Karaganda.

Today, Astana Finance actively develops this program not only in the capitals market, but also outside the capital - in the cities of Atyrau and Uralsk.
