JSC "Astana Finance" is a leader at the market of financial services among the non-bank organizations. The Company has appeared on the market of financial services 10 years ago as an institution of development of the new capital of Kazakhstan. The first projects of JSC "Astana Finance» was related to construction and re-construction of the social infrastructure, attraction of investors to Astana, development of entrepreneurship and creation of new possibilities for work force. At that time, the Company had financed acquisition of necessary municipal equipment, development of urban amenities and beatification of new capital.  

JSC "Astana Finance" was the first Company in the Republic of Kazakhstan who started to offer residential mortgage lending, solving the problem of shortage of residential buildings. The successful experience of the Company in this direction allowed broadening this type of lending through the country. JSC "Astana Finance" is the first Company that has introduced the leasing of agricultural equipment. At present, The Company takes a leading position at the market of agricultural leasing.   

The business interests of JSC "Astana Finance" are persistently growing. Along with the mortgage lending and leasing offered, the Company undertakes corporate management, project financing, investment management and brokerage.

The financial information of the Company has been audited by the International Auditing Company, the member of “Big Four” Auditors.   

The Company’s strategy is oriented at two large markets of Kazakhstan and Russia. Recently, the Company has acquired Alfa Bank of Bashkortostan, which is successfully operating at the Russian financial market under a new name – AF BANK. JSC "Astana Finance" also took management over 51 per cent shares of “Ular Umit” domestic pension fund. The Company perspectives for the next year are opening of a subsidiary bank in Kazakhstan, two insurance companies and several financial supermarkets, and in Russia – opening of a leasing company. In five years the Company plans to become a leader in the country and one of the leading groups in Russia in investment banking.

The AF’s mission is very simple – to become an innovative financial partner. The Company will undertake innovations into the existing financial products and into their technologies as well; and also marketing of financial products and services. The Company’s business is quite transparent. The financial information has been audited by the international auditing companies, the members of “Big Four” auditors. The Company combines optimally its activity in the domestic and foreign financial markets, successfully collaborates with well-established Export-Import Agencies.   

In March 2008, JSC "Astana Finance" has been nominated as "The best financial company of the year of 2007 in corporate management on the developing markets of Europe" according to the survey of the EUROMONEY, the European edition. AF is actively operating at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. It has undertaken more than 10 issues of debt securities and 5 issues of stocks. In February and November 2006, the Notes for the total amount of USD 300 million have been issued.

AF assisted production companies of Kazakhstan to appear at the stock market, this fact says positively about the Company’s good reputation and its ability to support the listing of companies’ shares. AF takes efforts to underwrite almost 12 clients in the  listing of KASE.
